We use the DJI Mavic 2 Pro platform. This drone is a very capable machine, equipped with a Hasselblad camera which is capable of taking 20MP photographs and shooting 4K video. The camera settings can be controlled manually or automatically, and various photo and video formats are supported, including JPEG, RAW, H264 and D-LOG.
The drone can be operated by one person, and can either be flown manually or automatically, following pre-planned routes. The drone is GPS enabled and comes equipped with several sensors for obstacle avoidance. Images taken by the drone are GPS-tagged and these coordinates can be included in reports for surveying purposes.
We use industry-leading photo and video editing software to bring our images to life, along with 2D mapping and 3D modelling software which allows our drone to do so much more than just supply images. We can supply various in-flight viewing solutions, from viewing monitors at the task site to live streaming of the drone camera view to mobile devices.
We also carry a wide range of accessories and equipment to maximise the efficiency of the drone and customise it to the requirements of each task.
Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and so on every task we always arrive fully equipped with appropriate PPE, first aid and firefighting equipment. We also carry backup camera equipment which allows us to operate and take aerial images in areas where it would be unsafe to operate a drone.
We're skilled photographers on the ground too, and can supply high-quality images from more traditional vantage points to supplement those taken from the air.
